Laila.png

I never liked Pink as a kid because it was stereotypically used to represent Females but as I grew up, I've come to appreciate and acknowledge the Femininity in me. Laila is a personal project that was made using a combination of Procreate and Photoshop flanked in shades of Pink. It reflects a divine form of Feminine energy with her reflection representing her Menstrual personality.

A Space Vacation

I term my art style as “Scrapbook Art,” a technique rooted in “collage work”, that draws inspiration from the everyday, impactful visual narratives encountered in cinema, television, and various storytelling mediums. My creative process involves manipulating ordinary images to imbue them with new layers of meaning, harnessing the transformative potential of every element within the frame to convey a compelling narrative.

State of emotion

ArtbyRj

I find solace in immersing myself in the captivating worlds created by visionary filmmakers. Every cinematic experience serves as a refuge from the rigours of daily life. These narratives inspire a lot of my work.

I am my muse.

A lot of my art involves manipulating self-portraits, creating a connection between my 'self' and what I see in nature. This is what I use to explore the depiction of a state of emotion. My workflow mainly involves Photoshop and Procreate, along with some touchups on Lightroom. Scroll through to see some of my recent artworks.
