"An Art Interpretation with Visual Narrative”
Challenge:
To reimagine and develop a design element that is greatly inspired by the characteristics of the selected works of an artist related to art movements from the 20th Century. The art interpretation can be of any form of a 'Design Element' that is relevant according to present time and space.
Design Proposal:
The Taeuber Station is essentially a feminist approach to the post WWII works of Sophohie Taeuber-Arp, emphasising her design element of geometric abstraction and fluid movements within her cosmic metaphor of a circle. The temporary & public structure is made from recycled plastic, features a standard affordable sanitary napkin dispenser and a garbage disposal, contained within a single unit.
